Death of Jocelyn De Varennes
As per the Rules for Half-masting the National Flag of Canada (Section 14), the flags on all Canadian Coast Guard vessels, buildings and establishments across the country will be flown at half-mast from sunrise until sunset on November 23, 2024, the day of the commemorative ceremony in memory of the late Jocelyn De Varennes, who passed away while working onboard the CCGS Vincent Massey on September 16, 2024.
