Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2001
The purpose of the Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2001 (ODA) and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 is to improve opportunities for people with disabilities and to provide for identification and removal of barriers. To this end, the ODA mandates that each municipality prepare an annual accessibility plan.

We believe in integration, and we are committed to meeting the needs of peoplewith disabilities in a timely manner. We will do so by removing and preventing barriers to accessibility and by meeting our accessibility requirements under Ontario Accessibility laws.
