Forest Management Plan & Recommendations

The Forest Management Plan is a 120-page report prepared by the County of Renfrew concerning Deep River's street trees, urban forest patches, and large forest areas. Most recommendations are geared towards Town staff; however, residents are encouraged to assist with invasive species (found on page 27 of the report) by taking garden waste to the landfills and/or pulling and disposing of plants that match the descriptions.

Of particular concern is garlic mustard, which is found near Lamure Beach.
