Canadian nuclear history began with Ernest Rutherford and his Nobel Prize winning work at McGill University in the early 1900s. The nuclear power industry, however, grew out of Canada’s efforts during the Second World War. Since then Canada has contributed to numerous areas of civilian nuclear technology.
We receive interested members of the public by appointment at our current facility at 51 Poplar St., Deep River. We plan eventually to host educational programs, workshops, and historical researchers.
