Walk in the Hall 2024/2025

The Get W.I.T.H. It (Walk in the Halls) program offers the chance to walk in a warm, safe, and fun environment during the winter months! The program is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.    No pre-registration required.  * drop-ins welcome

In addition to being able to track your steps over time (we will have pedometers available that you can borrow), we are adding a number of fitness "stations" where you can choose to add a little bit of cardio or stretching into your walking routine.
Program runs every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00-7:30 pm with the exception to December 24th,  Dec 26th, Dec 31st & Jan 2nd for Christmas Holidays and March 11th & 13th during March Break

Dip to Donate Polar Plunge In Support of the Deep River & District Health Foundation - Closer To Home Campaign Join us at Centennial Rock in Deep River on December 7, 2024 from 12pm to 2pm for the Dip to Donate Polar Plunge. Individuals: Register online at DipToDonate.com Set your fundraising goal Collect Pledges and take the Polar Plunge Teams: Nominate a dipper (such as your boss) Set your team fundraising goal If you meet your goal, your dipper can match that amount to back out, or they have to take the Polar Plunge Other activities on the campus include: A bonfire with s'mores Hot chocolate BBQ and more.....

Join us at 3pm on December 7th, 2024 for Gingerbread House Decorating Party where family and friends can join together to build an edible Christmas home. Each $20 gets you (and your family/group) one (1) Gingerbread house and the icing and candy necessary to decorate it. Refreshments will also be available! All Ages Welcome! Celebrating Christmas

Santa Claus Parade of Lights , Saturday December 7th, 2024 at 5:30 pm

The Town of Deep River Recreation Department would like to encourage its community businesses, schools, churches, local groups and clubs to participate in our annual Christmas parade and support this community event.

Parade participants are urged to decorate their float in a way that would appropriately tie in with the theme (with lots of lights)

This year’s theme is "Togetherness”

If you, your business or club would like to enter a float, walking group or marching unit in this year’s annual evening parade, please contact

I will guide you on a step by step paint tutorial. Be sure to wear clothing you wouldn't mind getting paint on. Please Purchase your ticket in advance as Seats are Limited. $40 per person. All supplies are included. Canvas size is 10" X 10" When: Friday December 20th at 7:00pm.
